This remodel was a challenge that became a wonderful family home. The original home had been remolded years before, leaving two kitchens, two living rooms, exterior windows on the inside…So we reimagined the home, all within a limited budget.
We saved money by keeping the existing floors but moved walls to create a home for a family of five. We created a new open floor plan, new kitchen, new laundry room dressed with wallpaper and key to making the home feel unique, was the choice of black, mullioned windows opening to the pool. The back two exterior walls were painted charcoal to define the space and cut down on the glare.
Nothing makes us feel better than a happy family in their “new” home after a remodel.
